Country singer Mindy McCready, who helped define a new country sound in the 90’s with hits like Ten Thousand Angels and Guys Do it All the Time, died of a self inflicted gunshot wound yesterday afternoon at her home in Arkansas. This comes just weeks after her boyfriend’s death, which is still under investigation.
Sadly, Mindy probably spent more time in the news for her personal problems. Mindy leaves behind two boys, 6 year old Zander and Zayne who was born last April. Mindy McCready was only 37.
On a much lighter note, Jason Aldean starts out on his fourth headlining tour this Thursday with Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.
Kip Moore will star as himself on next week’s episode of Nashville
