Ricardo Cerezo of Illinois found a forgotten lottery ticket in his cookie jar worth $4.85 million dollars!
Cerezo saved a total of 11 lottery tickets in his cookie jar for safe keeping. After urging from his wife, he took the tickets in to see if they were winners.
At the same 7-11 he bought the ticket at, Cerezo found out he was a winner in the February 2nd drawing. Three months after the original drawing, he recieved his check for $4.85 million.
Cerezo and his wife plan on using the winnings to pay off their mortgage and bills, share a portion with their children and donate to their church and favorite charities.
