Brittany Kerr, the girl who Jason Aldean was hugging and smooching on at a bar last weekend, is now apologizing for her role in the scandal.

TMZ is reporting that Brittany calls the whole thing a "lapse in judgment."

She says, "The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part."

She adds, " I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."

With that said, sources are also claiming Brittany told friends she has no idea Jason was married or she would have "shut the whole thing down from the start."

Brittany also reportedly deleted her Twitter account, due to the enormous backlash she received.
